Adam Yas and Kayhan Golkar
Adam's music on his debut solo album, Gender Of The Holy Spirit, drifts between dark cabaret folk and alternative indie rock. It's a glittery, synth laden collection of open hearted, vocal driven hymns.

Analog Dog
Analog Dog makes genre fluid music in San Francisco, USA. Hailing from all corners of the country, the band came together in and around the hallowed musical breeding grounds of Golden Gate Park. With each member drawing on diverse inspirations and musical backgrounds, from self-taught to classically trained, they unite over a common love for genre-bending composition and improvisation. Honoring the vibrations of the psychedelic revolution of the 1960s with big guitar-driven hooks and stacked vocal harmonies, while simultaneously embracing modern indie pop soundscapes, Analog Dog is it’s own thing.

April & Monroe Grisman and Friends
April and Monroe Grisman are both lifelong residents and well-known musicians in the Marin County music scene performing and recording both locally and nationally with numerous bands and artists as well as writing their own music.
They have been a couple for over 35 years, married for 28 of those and proud parents of two adult children. However, it was not until the beginning of the pandemic during periods of self-isolation in their home that they began to write songs together for the first time. The following two-year period was very productive in this regard, as they continued to write and develop some 18+ songs that expressed a myriad of feelings they both felt about current events and the people and things they cared about. This performance at PorchFest will be the first public offering of some of these songs along with a few fun selected covers. April and Monroe will be joined by some of their dear friends and fellow musicians lending their talents to bring these songs to life and each of whom have significant musical history of their own in Marin and beyond. Please join us for this debut performance of “Songs from a pandemic”!

MONROE GRISMAN -GUITAR/VOCALS
TAYLOR CUTCOMB – KEYS
JOEY DIBONO – BASS
LORING JONES – DRUMS
LORALEE CHRISTENSEN – BACKGROUND VOCALS
CARRIE SOUZA – BACKGROUND VOCALS

Beckylin & Her Druthers
Beckylin & Her Druthers are a wig country band out of the Bay Area recreating the glamor, fun, and sincerity of early 70’s TV country music. When Beckylin's mother couldn't find a sitter and started taking her to the Rawhide (a gay country bar in SF), she never could have known that it would spawn a lifelong love of country music, but that it did.
Beckylin and Her Druther's ever-expanding catalog of original music focuses on what Beckylin jokingly calls her "origin story," and on her mother, the original Cocaine Cowgirl. Their full repertoire of classic country spans the late 40’s through early 80’s.

Fake Your Own Death
You don’t have to actually die to start over, but you might have to pretend to. Fake Your Own Death was born out of studio apartment located above a bar in Berlin where Terry Ashkinos (formerly of indie band Elephone) was studying the fall of communism for the American government. A handful of songs became a collaboration between Terry and drummer Scott Eberhardt and soon after became a band with the
addition of Joey Federale on bass and Shane Ryan on guitar and synth.
Fake Your Own Death songs are a combination of loathing and reverb.
Tight beats and sharp guitars compliment a bass heavy vibe that is post
punk at its finest. All swoon and spit. Alluring stories about misfits, escape and the collapse of meaning create a patchwork of uneasiness and romantic nostalgia.
FYOD has been compared to bands like Interpol, Echo and the Bunnymen, Love and Rockets, Froth, Sonic Youth, The National and Jesus and Mary Chain by both local and national press.
The band has played with the likes of The Warlocks, Blood Red Shoes,
You Say Party We Say Die, Film School, White Denim, Bob Mould, Trail
of the Dead, !!!, The Devotionals, The Kills and Gang of Four. Fake Your
Own Death’s debut album is called Invisible and Bulletproof (Monolathe
Recordings 2015) followed by El Terrible (Breakup Records 2016).
Then in 2018, FYOD released 2 EP’s The Wake and Shortest Poem Hates
to Lose (What Rough Beast 2018). Addition of Joey Federale on bass and Shane Ryan on guitar and synth.
